I love the De La Renta designs
I also love that some designers thought outside the box and designed for the two girls.

I wish she would go for an extravagant haute couture gown, but I’m pretty sure she’d opt out for some classy and safe Oscar de la Renta.

HER COLORS ARE PURPLE, BLUES AND SILVERS….she is a winter person.
Being a Capricorn, she needs to enhance her nice waste but something lose and baggy around the butt–to make it more discreet!
She has to stay away from oranges/yellows and greens…those colors are for Fall people–red heads.

I detested the dress she wore at the Election day. She looked like a BLACK WIDOW SPIDER with a red tummy.
I say anything Blue/purple or silver.

monique lhuillier’s is so regal, fitting for a first lady
but betsey johnson’s would be so badass

surprisingly, i feel the kors dress would be the most suitable for her and the occasion.

They are all great, some being very fascinating and others entirely wearable.
Your choice probably does take the cake, but the red dress (#8) is completely stunning also.
Great blog– coming from a new reader.

i agree, the 3 rodarte dresses are lovely. the monique lhuillier dress is beautiful but a bit too fancy/elaborate. i think the michael kors dress is great for michelle: simple, blue, classy, hides her large hips. although i just read on the internet that michelle picked a white jason wu gown. there aren’t good pictures yet but it looks good from what i’ve seen (much better than the red narciso dress, at least!).

Most of these are lovely – and ALL are better than that toilet-paper monstrosity Ms. O chose for the ball!!

Michelle Obama chose a great color but the material of her dress was not flattering on her.
Michelle Obama already has established her individuality through her fashion choices, but with a self-assurance and far-reaching influence similar to her predecessors. But I’m sure she also works out.
