Ethnic prints, plaids and a knit hat – this is exactly how I’m going to dress this winter… (except with some sexier shoes of course).

This fashion is so perfect for winter. I am so in love with the plaid. I have to admit that I have not worn plaid in a long, long time, but lately it is such a versitile look. It represents comfort yet with a little high fashion effect. And the leopard print shirt is amazing, I have always loved leopards and their print, and I think it is about time that leopard print comes back in style. The skirt on the bottom right is gorgeous! It is so long and with a warm feeling. I love how it flows. The skirt goes perfect with the fitted long sleeve shirt and the boots. If only it could be cold enough in Los Angeles to wear this outfit. The setting of all of the photos makes me feel cold, you get the feel of October, November, and December when you look at these photos. Even when I see the one with the sleeveless leopard print top, the taboggon and cool colors used for her makeup show that this is a fall and winter ad. I also love the pants in the second ad on the left. The buttons going down on the side are my favorite aspect. They are also not to tight. The fabric on the back of the thigh is a little loose to give comfort in the cold. When I first saw the sweater on the very bottom left, I was a bit skeptical. I began to think of the Christmas sweaters my mom made me wear as a child that swallowed me, but the more I look at it, the more I come around to it. Actually, I am a bit in love with it. I would buy every look shown in this add….that is if I could afford it.
What a cute look! I actually like taking my mothers old over sized sweaters, belting them tightly around the waist and letting them hang off the shoulders a bit. It’s a flattering look and it puts use to vintage sweaters. I also like old plaid shirts as well. I have one in blue and a cream color and it’s so cute to wear with a simple black tank and some leggings with boots. I like them to be over sized so leggings look appropriate with them. LOVE the print. I’m going to die a fan of animal print, even if it’s completely out of style, lol. I’m from the beautiful Pacific Northwest and I absolutely love this look considering it’s either raining or cold seventy five percent of the time. I agree, I wish LA had more defined seasons so I wear things like this longer. I find myself changing colors in my wardrobe for seasons, but it’s still too warm sometimes to wear a large sweater…unless it’s night time of course. (Buuurrrrr) I really like multi-colored knee high socks too. Leg warmers work but I like the fitted look a little better if I’m wearing something baggy on top. Sometimes it looks cute just to wear an oversized sweater with some flashy heals or something as well. This is a look I’m very fond of. One of my good friends who looks ADORABLE in her large sweater and chic purple heals. GREAT colors for fall…classic white and black with color on her lips and shoes.
Reminds me of the looks you have posted with a little glamour added to it. LOVE it, thanks for a great inspiring post….looks like I need to make a trip to my mother’s closet!
