This blog’s been needing an injection of Mert & Marcus. Here they are, doing études with Naomi in lace, latex and furs. Bet that shoot went kind of like this

“I’ve been running into Marc Jacobs for the last five nights now, I wouldn’t be surprised if he showed up here too”, prognosticated Valentine Uhovski, the fashionweekdaily.com correspondent at the official Mango store launch last night on Broadway. As much as we couldn’t believe it Marc really did pop in for the party with the handsome Lorenzo Martone in tow (no need to guess who wears the skirt in that family, hmm?). Our favorite fashion dolls Genevieve Jones, Ashley Olsen and Behati Prinsloo were there as well. The shop’s great: we have a Mango plaid lama coat from last year and it still wears like a YSL (well…almost). What else is there to report? Oh, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld lost a lot of weight — she looks hot and French. Mm Mm.

Can’t decide which one of these ice babies we like the most: the heart, the lion or the wing (aka Love, Courage, Freedom). We can just tell it’s only a matter of time before Rihannas, Kate Mosses and Michelle Obamas of the world discover this special little collection.


And the cases are pretty too!

Ethnic prints, plaids and a knit hat – this is exactly how I’m going to dress this winter… (except with some sexier shoes of course).
