  3. July Stars Says:

    That is SO funny …
These pictures were also in the French Vogue and for some reason, Kate Moss is also smoking fags in the pics…

  4. F.A. Says:

  5. Pretty Guide of Art Says:

  7. Chelsea Rae Says:

Oh yeah, I think its working! Nothing like a bit of self deprecation to make you lose weight. More people should do this ;)

  8. Bryanboy Says:

    One word. Thinspiration.

I hate to say this but DAYUMMMMM Sasha really looks fierce in those pics.

    F.I.E.R.C.E.

    that’s all that matters.

  9. Benedicte Says:

Nope, still hungry. Takes more than a few pictures to take away my appetite. ;P

  10. swhickky Says:

Oddly enough, it has the opposite effect on me.

  11. Anonymous Says:

Yeah, this is what real women look like. Real women who want to succumb to osteoporosis in their later years.

  12. Fashion-DiscipleXXX Says:

No I’m still going to munch o junk food for now, I don’t dig that whole skin and bones look, its just not me, or rather I’m to greedy to try.

But those pictures are completely inspiring, they are gorgeous, cant blame them for doing a 12 page spread. Wonderful!!

  13. Jillian Says:

I think she looks really fabulous! and she def has made me wanna keep working out… i’ve been so good i’ve run everyday this week! yay!

one of her best shoots to date!

  14. F.A. Says:

  15. Anonymous Says:

  16. utterly Says:

    i was seeking some thinspiration
and then i came across this!!!!

    mil mercis xxxx

  17. Lorentzo* Says:

    I’m not hungry

  18. Philippa Snow Says:

I absolutely love Hedi’s photographs, but I must say that for some looking at them is probably going to give a lot of people a strange, subconscious hankering to eat some ribs. Odd, that.

  19. Mint Says:

In the 8th photo she looks emaciated. Like she’s an ironing board and not a woman. Natalia Vodianova has more curves than Sasha, and that’s saying something. Natalia also looks way healthier.

In the pics where her hair is falling over her face I could swear one might think she’s Kate Moss.

  20. AR Says:

you can see her ribcage – not exactly inspiring. it makes me want to give her my food because she obviously needs it more than me.

  21. Secretista Says:

Yea, surprisingly I am still hungry.

  22. On Track Says:

I’m ALWAYS hungry…. but these photos do make me reconsider, for five seconds anyway ;)

  23. Naomi Says:

I don’t even need French Vogue, just open the TV to FTV and watch all the little models strut down the runway on what appear to be toothpicks and not only do I not feel hungry but I also have a strong desire to do some pushups or run 3 and a half miles….

  24. skinnyGLASSESgirl Says:

yes more food please! some people are just built differently. i’ve always been super thin (my mom is skinny) but in my older age i’ve gotten a bit of a pot belly from one to many jack and cokes ;o) Love your blog!

  25. Anonymous Says:

    I just ate dinner!

She has a nice face but her body does look distorted!

  26. Anne Corrons Says:

When I think about a cupcake, I’ll remember these French pictures!

  27. Mabelle V Says:

Sasha should eat some borscht and piroshki…… :(

  28. Anonymous Says:

    you all are sick :(

  29. stacy Says:

    This is too funny.

  30. Anonymous Says:

    Looks cold and hungry.

  31. Anonymous Says:

Digusting… It’s so sad that our society finds this famine/bony/starvation look beautiful. This is not what women were intende to look like.

  32. deryik Says:

this really is not beauty- cos its not healthy. ive been underweight since age 14 (been a decade), cos thats my metabolism- just too fast. my friends kept on envying me, cos i could “eat anything& everything”. and i kept on evying them cos they didnt feel dizzy the moment they delay their meal for 15 minutes. plus, gaining weight could be a signal from your body that u r eating unhealthy food- and i dont get that signal.

and i didnt eat “everyting”: i spent years calculating what to eat and visiting doctors- cos my blood tension would go down drastically if i ate too sweet or too acidic things when im hungry. i’d feel dizzy, or even faint, when tired. this is a huge, annoying constraint in life. the only thing the docs told me was to gain weight. it took me years, i just couldnt put on weight. now that i gained 4 kgs, finally, im happy with felling healthy. overweight could be a problem, but underweight is equally bad.

and to be honest, i firstly thought this was an awareness-raising campaign or something on anorexia, esp #3 and #8.

it really is not beauty. i mean, unless u wanna go for french vogue… :)

  33. aficionada Says:

hah that’s funny I actually feel less like eating after seeing a few model photos or skinny celebs. it works wonders I tell you.

  34. Dusk Says:

    Look! up in the sky! It’s a praying mantis…no, it’s a smoking Chupa-chup.

  35. puf! Says:

    she’s perfect in my opinion

  36. Bostonista Says:

I love you and I love Sasha.
I’m adding you to my blog roll might you return the favor?
    :)

  37. Iheartfashion Says:

I thought the photos, styled by Emmanuelle Alt, were gorgeous! Sasha looks great, if a bit skinny, but that’s her livelihood.

  38. BlossomClothing Says:

    these photos are absolutley gorgeous.

  40. choubelle Says:

Hoo boy. I think skinny can look really sexy but when that many ribs are showing I think it looks so malnourished and unwell. Ach fashion! Why make the world hungry for something that we know isn’t good for us? It just doesn’t make sense.

  41. Da Diva Says:

She is abnormally skinny imho. Doesn’t look very healthy to me at all. No thanks.

  42. san francisco photo Says:

i think i’ll have a cigarette for dinner.

no, make that half a cigarette.

I don’t like her in those pictures, she`s pretty slim.

  44. me Says:

Sorry – I’m into the Monica Bellucci style. I am into sports, but dieting to look anorectic, not for me.

Feel good in your own skin.
