Interview with Robbie Myers of Elle
Robbie Myers says Elle magazine has 5 million readers. Factor in that they always hype the numbers up, so in reality it’s got to be something like 3-4 million. Then extrapolate that to include other glossies – Vogue, Bazaar, InStyle and what do you get? 20-25 million people reading fashion magazines? Maybe a bit more if you count Lucky, Glamour and Jane. Still that’s about 1 out of every 10 people in the US. And how many of them buy magazines because Jessica Simpson’s on the cover?!? I don’t even want to know…
