F.A.: Hey, you think Marc Jacobs has been fashion stalking Ashley Tyler? I mean, this is how you bop around Soho all time, no?
A.T.: I’ve asked myself the same question… he’s got spies everywhere!
F.A.: The concept is totally lifted from you! But you look much better, of course…

Leave it to Juergen Teller to take swipes at the Meisel-induced dead model craze and the odd popularity of Kate Moss. This German is artistically sticking it to the fashion world again in his latest W editorial and in his interview with Newstatesman . “Fashion is such a wank”, he says. Yes, but it just feels so good sometimes…

A certified stoner and party girl Natalia Vodianova is looking angelic on the cover of April edition of Vogue Paris. If we were French Vogue we wouldn’t put the girl on the cover unless Calvin Klein Inc payed us…. you know, to sell that cheap-looking Spring 2006 collection.

Here are the results of our brilliantly scientific poll: Sailor Chic is the leading choice for F.A.D. readers closely followed by Edwardian Rockstar and 60’s Pop. All good choices. So, shame on you if you didn’t participate.

There’s a FLY DVD making loops around town. The legend has it that after you watch it you’ll hear the ring and a wet Marc Jacobs will crawl out of your TV screen. So everyone’s watching and waiting, watching and waiting. In other words, it’s extremely creative, very cool and highly recommended.
The Zero Issue of FLY More FLY
here (Catherine Cushman piece really worked! The one with the Pucci dress was a minute away from a German porno. And the black/white vampire bit you have to watch stoned.
Ghukfvin, we really loved him. Thanks guys!)

Bill Maher on America’s Next Top Model: “these women seem nice but they are not top models because they aren’t breathtaking beauties, eastern European or 12. Let’s call the show what it really is: A Bunch of Nines Taking Shit From Tyra Banks.”

There’s a new store on Mercer Street called Nave and they’ve got some amazing stuff – no kidding. Normally, I wouldn’t share such strategically important information with anyone but since I already bought everything I wanted I now can reveal the trade secrets. Thank me later.

I’m happy to report that men and women in the streets of Manhattan are slowly but surely beginning to undress. The Sartorialist, as usual, documents this process on his highly acclaimed fashion blog .

See what a Mario Testino can do to a girl?! Without him she’d look just like any other mall rat from Croydon. A cute little rat though.

Oscars sucked: Brokeback lost to C r a s h and Balenciaga lost to Vera Wang. Poor Hollywood sirens obviously have nothing else to wear but the glossy, draped satin dresses. Middle America, I’m sure, was very pleased.

April’s W owed us a naked Kate Moss to compensate for the grossness of Jessica Simpson on the cover. So, here, have fun.

Still trying to decide whether these gray tights are going to make me look fat… they are all over the runways along with Vivienne Westwood’s gray boots. Ebay’s the only way to find out. Guess I’ll see ya’ll there.

The seats at the Miu Miu Fall 2006 show are so scarce this season that the editors from Glamour, Elle Girl, and Lucky will not be receiving any tickets while Vogue will get only three. Imagine the ego crisis. I have an ego the size of a hot air baloon too and, let me tell you, that kind of rejection really hurts! Muahaha.
