No Fashion For Plastics
Girls with breast implants are lost for the world of high fashion. The only clothes that fit them are the slutwear by Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli – things that (gasp) Mariah Carey would wear. From Thursday Styles section: “The double-edge scalpel of plastic surgery has allowed hundreds of thousands of American women to have the cleavage they deem ideal, though they no longer fit the svelte silhouette dictated by many fashion houses.
Say good bye to Proenza Schouler, Miu Miu, Balenciaga and Marc Jacobs.
After breast augmentation many women say they fill out sweaters and swimwear better, and they get a lot of positive attention, but other clothes no longer look right. Dr. James H. Wells, a former president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the chairman of its breast implant task force, has led a campaign among the society’s members to encourage women to consider more natural-looking implants, meaning smaller sizes.
Few women seem to have been persuaded, Dr. Wells said. But he has not yet tried telling them they would be out of fashion”.[NYT]

the mildly-curvy, yet mostly waif-ish model type, and the buxom porn queen are at two opposite ends of the glorified-body spectrum. not much sense in trying to be both.
in other news, jessica stam looks de-lovely in the marc jacobs shot.

Totally agree with this. In addition to being model perfect, having a small chest (like me) is also good becoz u know that u won’t sag in old age.
